The real fun happens when the fish aren't biting!

GUYS ON ICE
Books & Lyrics by FRED ALLEY
Music by JAMES KAPLAN

You can't have more fun at -40 degrees below zero when you check out the ice fishing musical GUYS ON ICE! Join long-time pals Marvin & Lloyd in their ice fishing shanty keeping warm with a mutual fondness for good bait, cold beer and Green Bay Packers. So grab your tip-up, warm the Flatheads and pop a "cold one". Simple, straightforward and surprisingly touching, GUYS ON ICE will charm your wool socks off with musical numbers like "De Fishing Hole", "Ode to a Snowmobile Suit", and "Fish is de Miracle Food". Perfect entertainment for the entire family.

Originally written as a joint production of The American Folklore Theater and The Milwaukee Repertory Theater, GUYS ON ICE, The Ice Fishing Musical made its debut at Ephraim Village Hall in Door County, Wisconsin, 1998. With book and lyrics by Fred Alley and music by James Kaplan, this hilarious musical comedy has played to sold-out houses from Madison and Milwaukee, Detroit, MI, Buffalo, New York to Ashland, Oregon. Co-produced by Troupe America, Inc. and St. Cloud's historic Paramount Theatre, the show made it's Minnesota premiere at the Paramount Theatre followed by a six month Twin Cities run at Plymouth Playhouse in Minneapolis.
